Rodney Jerkins (a judge on the show), said "You've just created a new genre of music Punk Soul". Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy even offered Melody a record deal live on the Starmaker show, saying "If bad Boy don't want you give me a call." Since the show Melody has been doing shows across the country. Most recently she played a Sold Out show at the House of Blues Chicago. I think Laurianne Gibson had it right when she said, "Melody you were born to do this".
