I am a guitar playing mad man that has a love for music! I feel real music has been lost in the oversimplification of life today with all the gadgets and gizmo's that distract from quality music writing. It pains me to hear all the songs today with their squashed overcompressed and digitally processed electronics. I long for the sound a song can make with all it's subtle imperfections which brings out the true character of any artist! I record using some fairly inexpensive recorded gear with no compressors or auto-tune. I have two microphones, Shure 57 for recording guitar and a shure 58 for vocal. My only expensive equipment are my guitars and amps. Seems tragic that ears today have been innoculated into thinking songs have to be heavily processed to be of a quality sound. I'm just hoping there may be a few ears out there that may apprecciate What I do with passion in all the time I find to spare!
