She began leading worship for kids in 2001 and fell in love with the job and the kids. In 2003, she learned to play the guitar and became the worship leader for her cell group ministry. Over the years she has led worship for people of all ages, sometimes with her guitar, sometimes with tracks, sometimes with hand motions (for the young or young at heart).
In 2004, Michelle co-founded Damascus Dawn and began writing music and playing at festivals, churches and coffee houses.
Currently, Michelle is continuing to play in various venues, in addition to leading worship for the kids at her church, attending Bible College with her husband, and homeschooling their five year old daughter.
