Miss Jhane has always been writing since she was a teen. She took whatever was happening in her life and put it on paper. Miss Jhane has always been writing since she was a teen. She took whatever was happening in her life and put it on paper. Her first song “I gave you Love” talks about a deep abusive relationship she was able to get out of. She receives great reviews about it. So she kept on writing, it seems that whenever something bad was happening, it was easier for her to put in writing. The lack of R&B events made her relocate to New York, where she found her home in Canarsie/Brooklyn, she continues to bless the stage with her talent and performances as a singer-songwriter, through different venues in the Manathan area, Brooklyn, Harlem.. as well in Brooklyn, through venues such as , Black Veteran for Social Justice reunion, Flatbush Family Festival, Panama Festival, Queens and Kings of New York Pageant. She was also televised on BCAT TV station, Bless Me Video TV Show fall of 2007 hosted by the late Lord Bless. Miss Jhane recorded and released her first project as a singer-songwriter 'ME...MISUNDERSTOOD' to showcase her talent as a songwriter. She also had her acting debut: KUNG FU EXPRESS (VORTEX FILM), where she plays a journalist. Modeling is also another of her side passion where she had a chance to be on the cover of INSIGHT MAGAZINE May 2008 Issue; she also does print jobs for photographers. Born and raised in Montreal, Miss Jhane has been part of the best step-dancing crew, the GODS OF RHYTHM with whom, she was able to tour throughout different cities. The group was then recognized at an early teen age for their talent which celebrates life as young black teens without violence. They were able to win for Best Specialty Performance for the YTV ACHIEVEMENTS AWARDS, which rewards young Canadian talent under the age of 19. The same year they were able to be featured in different TV shows throughout the country and won at STOMPIN' BLACK, a step crew competition, Canada-US, where they took the title from the best NYC group, to whom the winner title has never been taken from. Also they were able to win for the Group of the Year at the SOUNDS OF BLACKNESS AWARDS, which rewards Black Canadian talent, all of theses successful achievements in one year. When the group parted ways, she focused more as a self-entrepreneur singer-songwriter. She was signed to DANCE PLANT RECORDS, and independent label under KOCH INTERNATIONAL when she was part of the Canadian group MYSTIQUE, who performed in different venues and recorded their first retro album "DEJA VU". She also collaborated on different album projects as a back vocal, voice skit, etc with some of the greatest artists in Montreal. One of the track that she did collab for was featured in PIMP TALK (original American Title is PANDEMONIUM)... Miss Jhane isn't afraid to take risks and she is taking every professional opportunities.
