Miguel and John Q started their musical careers during their adolescent years where they picked up musical knowledge from both their fathers whom are musicians as well as brothers. Miguel and John Q are of Puerto Rican descent and were influenced and inspired by music legends like Celia Cruz, Tito Puente and El Gran Combo. This up and coming duo not only can sing/rap professionally in English and Spanish, but can dance the different beats and rhythms of salsa, merengue, bachata and hip-hop. Miguel and John Q acquired their musical talents from their upbringing, and being surrounded by friends and family who successfully placed a mark in the music industry. Both Miguel and John Q are related to Sony/BMG’s latest Latino sensation artist, Toby Love. The duo provided background vocals for Toby Love and traveled city-to-city nationally and to exotic countries in the Caribbean and South America, as well as in Italy, Paris, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Germany and Spain. The rappin’ duo is also working with Max Agende (Ceo of Maxmusick) from the hit group Aventura, as well as being mentored and managed by John Sanchez of the Freestyle group “Clear Touch.” Steadily moving up and already experienced performing in front of thousands in venues held by popular New York radio stations like, La Mega 97.9, La Kalle 105.9 and 93.1 Amor, this group is not only seeking to become international icons, but the next addition to this urban evolution.
