Rat Face started in spring of 06, with the original band... Jake, Ryan, Branden, Christian, Alex, and Elena. This is when the album "Get the Rat" was recorded with out the help of Elena. After 3 months, Alex and Elena were dropped, leaving only Jake, Ryan, Branden and Christian. For the 06 variety show they had auditioned but an "accident" happened with Jake and a teacher after the audition, kicking them out of the show. After 3 months, Alex and Elena were dropped, leaving only Jake, Ryan, Branden and Christian. After the album "WHY?", Branden and Christian were dropped from the band leaving only Ryan and Jake. Then Lewis and Eric joined then were kicked out. Next Annie joined the band for a day, that didn’t work so she was kicked out. Ryan P from another local band, "Rushing the Fields" joined as lead guitar. Jake is also in the band "Rushing the Fields". Elena re-joined the band then was kicked out. Eric re-joined the band and Earl joined at the same time. Now Earl is out, but Eric is still in, and a new member, Patrick, joined, he is our new keyboardist. The band members then became Ryan, Jake, Eric, and Patrick. After a while the band dropped Eric and Patrick and was just left as Ryan and Jake. Ryan and Jake decided to change the name of the band to Monkey Killing Ratface. In late January Ryan's Cousin Zack joined the band and would play back up guitar. In addition to the bands new guitarist Monkey Killing Ratface got a new bassist, Trevor. In early Spring 09 Zack left the band to work with ryan on his solo project.
