Hailing from Oakland CA, this trio began as a humble musical experiment between Janaysa Lambert and Paul Shinichi. Hailing from Oakland CA, this trio began as a humble musical experiment between Janaysa Lambert and Paul Shinichi. Janaysa's unique and soulful voice paired up with Paul's classical, dreamy rock - piano, perfectly. They started writing piano and voice compositions in Paul's small studio apartment in 2009. The process was such an easy collaboration and produced some of the most songs either musician had ever created before. Within a year the addition of the prolific drumming styles of Sean Paul transformed their sound into a super potent , electrifying trio. Shapeshifting, ethereal melodies ripple thru soul. Hooky.
