Born Tariq Darrell Caple on March 20, 1992, T-Rock has always been into music. Being named after a long time friend of his mother in the Westport Community in Baltimore Maryland, T-Rock has decided he wanted to rap after making a song about a hurricane that occurred in 1997. T-Rock was once called “Lil T-Rock” but as he got older he no longer wanted to be called “Lil” so he dropped the “Lil” off his name & just went by T-Rock. Starting a group in the 4th grade called “The Little Rascals” Caple began studying song formats. No one really knew Caple could rap, but in 5th grade he decided to show people his talent by performing at his 5th grade graduation along with 3 of his friends. The group didn’t work out so T-Rock went on his own for a little while & bought his first Karaoke machine recording his first ever mixtape titled “Half Man Half Amazing”. After letting a couple of his friends listen to his tape, Caple then started another group called “Young Heartz” along with his friend Gernard Bullock. Being in competition with a group called B-Bullets, T-Rock then decided to get serious about rapping. Young Heartz didn’t work out so Caple co-found Most Wanted with a member of B-Bullets. After being together for 3 years, Most Wanted split over a disagreement then T-Rock decided to start a solo career. Recording his first single “Looking For You” produced by So Real, T-Rock then started performing different places. Meeting the Khalgaree in church T-Rock recorded his major single “On Your Own” followed by “On & Poppin” produced by The Khalgaree, Caple is now working on his album “Wisdom Turned Wealthy” which is due in early 2009 & is aiming to score a recording contract with Def Jam. T-Rock name is a tribute to his “big brother” Kadafi who was murdered in 2005.
