Biography Of Ms. G Geonese Therese Lynette Nairn was born in Nassau, Bahamas on January 28th 1985. She is the last child of three children. She began to sing at the early age of eight. While in primary education she discovered her own little sound in playing the piano for about two years. In addition, she has also used her humming bird voice by singing in both primary and secondary education. Later, she went on to branch her talents off into the genre of hip-hop where she has been most successful. Even though she loved singing she found another passion that she picked up was rapping. It was one of those things that you might call it “a special gift that you know you didn’t have but it just came”. Ms.G, as she is affectionately called, was trained by close friend and fellow artist Raynaldo aka “BabyBoy” in the fine art of free styling, he has also trained another up and coming Bahamian artist named ‘Offshore’. Ms.G’s first recorded track titled “If I Could Have Anything” was recorded by local Bahamian radio personality ‘Special K’ and immediately became a street hit in Nassau. As soft spoken and shy as she might be sometimes, when it comes down to the music she brings out the fire in what she does. She appeared at Florida Memorial University’s “Rhyme Fest” in early 2007 where she took the crowd by storm by pumping out such a huge performance out of a petite 5’3” frame. In addition, she also performed at the Blue Print showcase. Throughout her career Ms.G has produced such Nassau street bangers such as “Nassau” ‘Nod Yo Head’, with featuring upcoming artist Brandon throwing in down on the vocals, ‘Isn’t This Really The Truth’ featuring fellow Flo Mo. female M.C. Vegas and the in your face cruiser ‘Hustla’. She has also been featured in the song ‘ride or die nigga’ by another artist Lynkx, other featured artist are: Joeboi, Dynasty and Yung Gutta. In addition, she has worked with artist Hustla V. She currently has her album/mix tape entitled “across the waters” Her lyrical influences are Jay-Z, Eve, Ja Rule and Fabolous, and Aaliyah. Her ultimate goal, other than becoming the greatest female rapper of all time, is to become CEO of her own record label and to put ‘Da 2-4-deuce’ in its rightful place.....THE TOP!
