Hailing from the Australian city of Brisbane, Ned is a singer songwriter on a life long musical journey which began at the age of 4 when he used to sit beside his Grandfather at the piano. He began writing songs and playing in bands from the age of 17. From 2000 to 2006, Ned was a member of Shifter - winners of Australian national radio competition 'JJJ Unearthed'. During his time with Shifter, he played support shows for Blondie, Evermore, Eskimo Joe, Grinspoon and The Living End to name a few. The band went on to play the well know Big Day Out Festival, as well as tours of both Australia and the US where they picked up US Management. Ned left Shifter to persue a solo career and after spending time travelling through Europe, he returned to Australia to record his debut EP, Where to From Here. With his distinctive voice, strong melodies and soulful lyrics, Where to From here is a sound that is fresh and vibrant. Ned is now residing in London where he continues to win over audiences with his soul baring performances.
