In the end of 2005, Johan Nat (guitar) decided to make a band to share his passion for metal . In the end of 2005, Johan Nat (guitar) decided to make a band to share his passion for metal . But Nemost needed two years and two more members to actually take shape : TimCod as a singer and Samuel Eymonym as a second guitarist. They played several gigs in Paris and recorded their first self-titled demo that was quite well received by several online magazines and the famous french metal magazine : Metallian. August of 2008 was the time for the band to find their present drummer : Thybo. The new bass player , Merry DotA, joined the band in the fall of 2009. This is a new beginning for Nemost who recorded their first album, The Shadow's Trail (out on 5th March 2010) and shot the video of "Sardanapale". This video will be broadcast several times on MTV Pulse, the rock version of MTV in France. Inspired by such genres as progressive death metal, thrash metal, doom metal, gothic metal and many others, each song has their own identity. From the catchy riffs of Sardanapale to the dreamy melodies of Whisper, Nemost intend to mix rage and melancholy, energy and sensitivity.
