The name No Direction Home is derived from the Bob Dylan song, Like a Rolling Stone. The bands plays blues rock music for the most part and also dabble in psychedelic and some harder forms of rock music. All of the members are from the same hometown of Abingdon, Illinois. Two of the members, Kyle Dinges and Tyler Gordon, currently attend Western Illinois University and live in Macomb. The other two members, Nathan Cowan and Jason Reno attend Carl Sandburg College and live in Abingdon. Most of their performances have been in Galesburg, Illinois. The band is focused on continuing to make music a large part of their lives. In June of 2010 the band will be releasing their debut EP titled Broken Roads.
