Bill Carroll (lead guitar, song/lyrics writer)and Greg Peters (singer, lyrics writer)worked together in the group Warhead for periods between 1986 and 1996. Bill retired from music in 1996. In 2006 Greg began trying to talk Bill out of retirement. After much coaxing Bill agreed to pick up the guitar again and began the year long process of getting back into playing shape. After a couple of failed attempts at getting Warhead back together Greg suggested bringing in a friend of his on drums, Gary MacDougall. One day, while Bill was shopping one at a local business in Stoughton he overheard the shop owner and the young clerk talking about music. The clerk, Jacob Tapper, played bass and when asked what kinds of music he liked, he immediately said that Black Sabbath was his favorite band. Thats all Bill needed to hear and Jacob was invited down to try out for the band. Jacob joined the band and the first rehersal was held on March 8, 2008. Through the process of learning the songs it was decided that instead of calling the band Warhead, they would rename the band and these four musicians, Bill, Greg, Gary, & Jacob would be the founding members.
