Back in his high school days, AJ Nutter was a member of the band, One Dollar an Issue. A year after joining the group they had recorded a five track album at K Sound Studios, located in Conestoga, PA. At the end of 2003 the band separated. AJ Nutter still stayed good friends with Chris Ruppert, who was the bass player for One Dollar an Issue. In the summer of 2004, Nutter collaborated with Ruppert again. Ruppert wrote music for a song that later went on to become "The Last Stand" by Blank Silhouette. He sent the song to AJ.
