One Night Stan began as a bunch of goofy high school kids under the name 'Hard Beef In Gravy'. The band was founded by Jason 'Gote' VanDeMaat (guitar/vocals), Sam McInnis (keyboards/vocals), Sean Bridwell (bass/vocals) and Ian Wooldridge played the drums. One Night Stan began as a bunch of goofy high school kids under the name 'Hard Beef In Gravy'. The band was founded by Jason 'Gote' VanDeMaat (guitar/vocals), Sam McInnis (keyboards/vocals), Sean Bridwell (bass/vocals) and Ian Wooldridge played the drums. The band went through a few names and a few rythm guitarists before becoming 'Four on the Floor'. After high school ended there was a bit of a rough patch. Sam decided to go to the army. So the band basically ended. Realising there were still songs to be played and times to be had, Gote, Shawn and Ian recruited guitarist Brian Delpino and reformed as 'One Night Stan'. As the band got tighter and the songs got better everyone kinda realised the Brian was a turd. So he was ejected from the group. Lucky for us a year had gone by and Sam was out of bootcamp. So we gave him a call and next thing we knew we were all back together again! It is now the end of 2007 and we've just released our new album Supa Mega Good Happy Fun Time Album and things couldn't be better. We've been keeping busy with shows and new projects. Ian has devoted his life to fire fighting so we got ourselves a new drummer. It's okay though because he and Ian are best friends. His name is Matt Griphon (drums) and he's a very rad drummer. This concludes the story of the band. It's not the end though. Not by a long shot!
