Influenced by acid house music trance enduced mind bending beats, whilst raving away at manchesters hacienda nightclub and wharehouse raves, they started to put down their own stuff.Huge Big fat basslines that make speakers drop off walls, trippy squelchy trance inducing zombie walking / wandering melodies, funky big fat break beats and the occasional cryptic phsycobabble lyrics thrown in for good measure. .Using the Kork Micro Korg, the Roland MC 303, Korg electribe ea 1, analogue modelling synth and linked up with the Korg er1 rythmn synth and recorded in VST or ACID. The set up gives the original analogue sounds the originals like with the extra possibility of dropping in super phat bass and freaky effects.one day when original89 manage to untangle themselves from the wires that weigh them down they will venture out into gig land,until then this is just one of many outlets of their sounds.
