Pentalithium is an alternative rock band from Bogota, Colombia which was formed during Winter of 2008. It was founded by David Tobian (Tobi); drums, Nicolas Ayala (Nico), bass guitar and Gloria Duque (Glow);vocal, the three original members that remain today. After having met at music school, along with another guitarist friend, Pentalithium is formed during the end of 2008. Then in 2009, personal reasons force the guitarist to leave, making the drummer, Tobi, introduce Cristian Barbosa (Mondo) to the band.
For the following two years, Pentalithium experiments with all kinds of sounds, finding it's own and this takes the band to finally record their first Demo, Told You So!!
Pentalithium begins with a great 2010, full of gigs and interviews which draws the attention of new alternative rock fans. Unfortunately, by the end of the year, Mondo, the guitarist gives the news to the band about his departure.
The band begins recording the two new upcoming songs, Fifty and Stray which are finished during the middle of 2011. After four months, the band auditions several guitarists to finally make two of them part of the group.
