5 Years, countless re-recordings, different studios and setbacks. The thing has been on the back-burner, front burner, in the crock-pot and on the grill. If I had a budget - the thing would have sunk me.
But here we are, 2010 - I grabbed the bull by the horns and beat the stuffing out of it.

“The Promise of Rain” is here. It’s a collection of 12 songs about fires, floods, love and desire, loathing and disgust, and addiction and redemption. It’s a poppy, dark, folksy, silly, campy affair. Country songs about lost love and hippy peace anthems about humping on the floor.
I’m sure there’s something for everyone here, and I hope you enjoy it.
