"OUR TIME IS NOW" - WHO IS POST DEATH SOUNDTRACK? Post Death Soundtrack is the antithesis of today's music culture, creating thought-provoking music by weaving industrial, electronic, pop and rock sounds. Reflections of Darkness calls them "by no means music for simple minds" and Side-line.com calls their sound "undefinable". They have opened for respected acts such as Front Line Assembly. Currently a 4-piece, the band is Kenneth Buck, Steve Moore, Jon Ireson and Colin Everall. Post Death Soundtrack takes influence from the likes of The Beatles, Skinny Puppy, David Bowie and Dead Can Dance. Style is less important than mood as they strive to encourage thought and communication on a deep level. On September 16, 2008 Post Death Soundtrack released their debut full length album entitled "Music as Weaponry" recorded by the projects two founders, Kenneth Buck and Steve Moore. Since the release of "Music as Weaponry", Post Death Soundtrack has rapidly expanded it's fan base, garnering airplay and top reviews from publications such as Industrial.org and Sphere Magazine, who called the CD "a chaotic concoction of crossover madness", adding "this is the soundtrack to your escape from the average". Next, the band continued to record new material, remixes, and covers such as "Riders On The Storm" by The Doors and "Anywhere Out Of The World" by Dead Can Dance, which gained Post Death Soundtrack popularity with European listeners. Currently the band is busy working on a variety of releases, including a full length album due for release in 2010/2011. The official music video for the first single "Ultraviolence", shot by Vancouver director Jeevin Johal and produced by PDS drummer Colin Everall, was released in September 2010. POST DEATH SOUNDTRACK PRESS: "A rather indefinable sound." - www.side-line.com "Post Death Soundtrack is the most relevant industrial band out there at the moment." - Slowdive Music "These are revolution songs, fierce and intelligent, a battle against the bland." - http://nbtmusic.wordpress.com/ "Post-Death Soundtrack layer haunted vocals and sparse keys atop a rich, electronic foundation. That, and its Dead Can Dance cover might be worth the price of admission alone." - FFWD "Great sounds and a combination of rock, industrial, trip hop, electronica and theatrical music." - http://noiz.wordpress.com "By no means music for simple minds" - www.reflectionsofdarkness.com "This is the soundtrack to your escape from the average". - Sphere-mag.co.uk "It's always an exceptional thing when bands have something to say with their lyrics, and when it even turns into a concept album it's always an extra highlight for me. No matter if you agree or not on the "the use of music as something new and powerful, lending a voice in the harmonization of the counterculture"-part, you cannot deny the fact that these people know what they're talking about." - Industrializedmetal.com "As a well-rounded album, Music as Weaponry should appeal to many fans of Nine Inch Nails and Skinny Puppy as well as some followers of Front 242 and KMFDM." - http://music.ballweb.org/
