As he grew older, Pyro started to shift more into the creative aspect of music, writing his first lyrics in junior high school. It was a way for him to get things off his mind and let go. It was also a rhyme fest whenever he was around his peers, as they would gather and make up punchlines and share freestyle raps. As Pyro’s age increased, his lyrical ability also increased, thus creating a bigger drive for his music. By his late high school years, he became very comfortable with his writing, and started letting others see and hear it. People often told him he has a good talent, often speaking of the poetry that he would write. Entering his post high school days, Pyro began to record the music he wrote. He was one of the artists who wanted to learn all aspects of recording, not just stepping up to the mic and rapping. And this leads to the introduction of producing and beat making. Pyro was hooked after his first beat. And after about 3 years now of making beats, he has become skilled, yet always looking for ways to improve. If you listen to most of his beats, you will see he is big on melody and synths. He would normally say the drum loops come easy. Now, in 2010, Pyro has 2 mixtapes under his belt, “Heat”, and “Heat Volume 2”. He has been able to wow people with lyrical ability using just average production equipment. In fact, when most people hear most of his tracks, they don’t believe that he’s done it on just a windows computer, a free music program and a so so microphone.
