About Quinn Sands
Quinn Sands is a singer-songwriter from Euclid Ohio. Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, she grew up surrounded by music of every genre, providing a wonderful and eclectic soundtrack for her life. A Christmas gift of a guitar from her 4 children was her motivation to pursue a life-long dream of songwriting and performing.
She began singing her original songs at Cleveland area open mics in 2008, and the positive energy received from the audiences of music lovers and other talented musicians in her hometown has nurtured and encouraged her to grow as a performer and writer.
Quinn now performs regularly all over the Cleveland area at The Barking Spider Tavern, Dewey's Fair Trade Coffee, The Vine & Bean Cafe and The Town Fryer and at many music festivals and songwriter rounds.
The songs are simple tales about life, love, loss and hope with a little edge a few laughs. Quinn's solo and duo performances are engaging and light hearted, and new CD "Driving Through the Rain" is a collection of 13 such songs.
Qunn’s backup band on the record provide just the right the rhythm and twang to help illustrate the stories. They are the former “New Madrids” , the Cleveland Ohio band fronted by the dynamic “Rust Belt Blues” songwriter Oliver Buck.
Quinn Sands has played with the following artists:
