Rachel silva was born on the 18th August 1987 near Manchester England. In her early years she moved with her Parents to North Wales in the UK where she, her brother and parents established their family home. Through out Rachels childhood she was encouraged and supported to follow her dreams of persuing her passion for music, eventually gaining industry grades in music to a very high standard. Rachel eventually formed a duo known as 'Beats per minute' where she found her niche in music, a love of electronica led her down the path to where she is now, eventually parting from the duo in 2009 to establish herself as a soloist. Not only was it apparent that Rachel had a great vocal talent but also a great talent for composing and writing lyrics, many of her tracks have been written by her and as of now with her brother Jonathan (also a very talented composer). Rachel Silva today is a -Pop/Dance princess, glittering and sexy with a powerful voice and the presence to light up the pop industry, She's got the style of Madonna, the like ability of Kylie and the edge of Lady Gaga - her vocals are soft but emotive, and she can sing a wide variety of styles, but pop is her love.
