She fell in Love with Rap & the Hip Hop Culture at the tender age of 2 when she would come home from & before Preschool her T.V was fixed on "The Box" the older days version of MTV Jams (from listening too Snoop Dogg and Salt & Peppa non-stop she knew that rap was her calling.) She adopted the Name Lady Rap at the age of 10 when she was writing a few rhymes in class instead of doing class work and she jotted her name down & was amazed to realize that the initials of her name R.A.P. is exactly what she loved, so that night she hurried to tell her family. She has respect for all te Pioneers in the Game but some of her ultimate high favorites are artists Like Eve, JayZ, TI, Lil Wayne, Lil Kim, Ludacris, and the list goes on. She was still in Love with the culture but didn't think it was possible, or had chances to ever make it a career. One day when she was 15 she was randomly picked to be in a Music Video while walking down the street and this gave her hope. So, By the age of 16, she began to perform at a few local shows, and quickly grew a fan base. At 17 she was asked by BET to come battle another Female Emcee on 106th & Parks most popular show FREESTYLE FRiDAY but the call was so sudden she couldn't make the appearance, this almost made her come to a stop. She then returned to focus on school even though she hated it so much, yet still kept entertainment close to her heart by partaking in a Few Movies, Modeling, Drawing in her spare time, etc. By the age 19 she auditioned for The Real World 21 online she came close to winning but no cigar. She then auditioned for Flavor of Love 3 for fun, and surprisingly made it to one of the Top 5 winners online 3 to be exact, she was then flown out to Los Angelos by VH1, & was immediately being pampered upon arrival and thought this was her stepping stone to success, and then BOOM they found out she wasn't really 21 by a Snitch, and quickly flew her back to Newark, NJ and was then replaced by the runner up who made the appearance on National T.V. instead of her. This devastated her the most because this was something she was really trying to experience and was sure it would definitely take her in a better situation then what she was in (Sorry Flav). As soon as they sent her back she went to go speak to VH1 to try to get on Miss Rap Supreme but once again they had the same 21 age limit due to alcohol purposes. She was depressed for months on in and she figured that she will exclusively stick to the music, so she then entered yet another Competition for The Ultimate Group and won as Top 25 as well even though it was a skeptical FRAUDULENT competition it went on ofr over a year & the rules of the game kept changing (& it brought out the most haters that she'd seen in her life). Her Grind grasped the attention of a few known labels 1 in particular that can not be disclosed at this moment. Right now in 2009, she is more ready then ever to pursue the career that she knows she was made for. No matter if people doubts her talents or not, Hate it or Love it she will not give up, shes a Survivor and will make it to the Top. She is currently working on a mixtape which should released in the late summer. "I was born to lose but built to win!" she says. The name change is already a good look for the sexy rapper, her verses got a little more explicit (but still classy), well then again that comes with age &growth. So stay tuned, the revolution will be televised! :-) as she further states "Whoever said Opportunity only comes Once in a Lifetime Lied!....I've got so many opportunities you wouldn't believe me if I tell you them, and you really wouldn't believe me when I tell you I turned them all down, but God will open the right door!"
