Rawny was born on September 8th 1990, He comes from a musically inclined family. Both of his parents are singers as well as his sisters. At the age of 5, Rawny discovered his passion for music. Rawny was born on September 8th 1990, He comes from a musically inclined family. Both of his parents are singers as well as his sisters. At the age of 5, Rawny discovered his passion for music. While other kids would be playing with their toys or outside playing basketball, he would be in the house singing to his oldest sisters friends leaving them in ah and amazement. He has always been the type of person to put his all in whatever he do. Because his Father (Ronald Washington Sr) was a Pastor, he grew up in the church and developed a great love for God, he also played the drums while singing with the choir. All throughout school he was known for the charming guy who had smooth vocals and a way with the ladies. From talent shows to American Idol auditions, he performed numerous amount of times and became well known. In 2007, his second to the oldest sister Brittani Washington, (who was also the church musician) got her big break being the keyboardist for Beyonce Knowles. Although her family and friends were very happy for her, Their church was still in need for a church musician, so at the age of 16, Rawny begin practicing the keyboard and because of his God given ear for music, he learned how to play the keyboard in one year. He is now attending college at Prairie View A&M University, still singing and is still making big moves with his gift, He's also a writer/composer/producer. He credits his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as well as his fans for all of his success and as he continues his musical journey along with his fans, he plans to make music that would touch the hearts of millions and be known as a legend.
