Music has always been a major part of Rayna and R.J.'s life so it came as no surprise when R.J. taught himself how to play keyboard, and began writing songs. Rayna became more interested after drawing her attention to a rap that R.J. wrote originally for their brother. Rayna learned the rap in 2 days and spit it with a great attitude behind it. Music has always been a major part of Rayna and R.J.'s life so it came as no surprise when R.J. taught himself how to play keyboard, and began writing songs. Rayna became more interested after drawing her attention to a rap that R.J. wrote originally for their brother. Rayna learned the rap in 2 days and spit it with a great attitude behind it. R.J. changed a few words around, and then "The Challenge" was born. With the song being symbolic of the doubts, and issues that a rising star must go through to make it big in the music industry, it generated a buzz that got the duo thinking that music can be their career. The two went into R.J.'s room and collided to produce "Princess". Rayna felt as though she needed to show the world how she felt most of the time, so she took "Princess" and made it her anthem. The duo clashed once more for the summer anthem "Summer Fever", a reflection on a great summer. What could possibly be next for these two? Fame perhaps?
