Valdis Anthony or Red Kane a.k.a Lil Shot as he is more commonly known admits that rapping is something that he knew he wanted to do since learning to play instruments in 6th grade as well as middle school, an moved on to TW JOSEY high school marching Band in Augusta Ga. As a Rap Artist Red Kane got his Career Started in two different rap groups “N.Y.C” an “Two Da Hard Way” and was Notice right away when he performed at a talent show case held at a local community center in Augusta Georgia. Inspired by the way the crowd reacts to him when he performs on stage Such powerful encouragement inspired him to become a Solo Artist afther departing from both groups by 1993. And moved on to write and produce his debut Single “Coming Out Strong” In December of 1994. The Single drew a lot of local media attention as well as the attention of Haunted Pillar Records and was released on a Compilation CD in Febuary 1995 Still Without a major Record Deal in the works, Red Kane Became Headlining local shows and was the opening Act for HEATHER B, an SKI LO at the NBA HOOPS Fund Raiser held at the James Brown Arena in Augusta Ga, earning underground Street Fame. Unfortunately afther the death of his cousin who was his biggest supporter, still with out a Record deal, signing a bad contract with Haunted Pillar Records for his solo single released on their Compilation Cd in 1995 along with a host of other issues and struggles Kane decided to direct his attention and money towards Starting his own Publishing Company RED PIMP MUZIK in 2000. As time went on Kane many of talents was really starting to show as he got into acting and landed his first film appearance in 2005 in an underground film titled “AMERICAN STREET FIGHTER” as he also wrote, and produce the Theme Song “Street Fighter” for the film! Feeling more in Control of his Career and his many of Talents as An Artist, Producer, Writer, and Actor.
