Jamaar is arabic for handsome or beauty. Born in 1979, his only refuge from the emerging crack era came from his mother's refusal to let her only son fall as a result of negligence, as his father spent his entire life in correctional facilities where he is today. As he got older his getaway became his great-grandmother's basement where he honed his musical talents. It is there where he learned to 4-track records, DJ, and finesse his lyrical content.
