While attending college Repunza's mother died. They were very close; they were like sisters. Repunza made the tough decision to leave her remaining family and friends and move to Georgia. In order to pursue her lifelong dream of singing. While in Georgia she met the Owner of Dilliagaf Records. After hearing her sing. He immediately brought her into his studio and begun working on her first album. She was then introduced to Big Earl. He loved her voice so much he featured her on his latest album. While recording Chocolate Man. She caught the attention of Perry Guest (Son of William Guest of Gladys Knight and the Pips). He quickly called his father whom drove down to meet Repunza and was honored. Soon after recording the single Soulful Sinner. She caught the ear of another celebrity, Rudolph Isley of the Isley Brothers. He told her "He sees success". They have been staying in touch working together on her 2nd album "SoulFuL SinNeR".
