Riddlez was born in the city of Chicago, Illinois, while growing up he resided in several other states, but finally found a home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a pre-teen he was introduced to hip hop by summer vacations to visit family in New York City. Influenced by such legendary rappers as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, L.L. Riddlez was born in the city of Chicago, Illinois, while growing up he resided in several other states, but finally found a home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a pre-teen he was introduced to hip hop by summer vacations to visit family in New York City. Influenced by such legendary rappers as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, L.L. Cool J, and Run DMC he then began writing original compositions himself. Eventually, he signed a deal with independent label Can I Live Entertainment. Can I Live toured throughout the south and midwest opening venues for artist such as Trina, Trick Daddy and J.T Money. Business differences caused the demise of the independent label, so Riddlez positioned himself back in OKC. Working with his local music family Tri-nitty he formed a close relationship with friends and business partners Brian Lewis and Justin Sebring together they reintroduced the world to GRIP Records. Currently working with super producers Judo, Big Teazy, and Chris Cutta, Riddlez and GRIP are in route to put Oklahoma City on the map with the release of his debut solo album "RENAISSANCE"
