Now working from his adopted home of Brooklyn, NY. It was previous trips to “The City That Never Sleeps” for front man and songwriter Mark Bleasdale that gave him the insight into what NYC had to offer and which ultimately led him to make the move across the Atlantic rather than his counties capitol. Drawing inspiration from his new surroundings and experiences gained in living in a foreign city Bleasdale was inspired to write and record all instruments himself for his debut album from a corner in his apartment generously titled “the studio” using only a limited amount of equipment. What started out as almost an experiment in seeing how far he could push the obvious lack of equipment Bleasdale quickly realized that his yet untitled project was gaining momentum. He decided to start up a myspace page under the title of RIDING BETWEEN CARS (RBC as it is lovingly abbreviated) a title inspired by his L train journey’s from Brooklyn to Manhattan. After numerous requests for a live performance Bleasdale teamed up NY based musicians, sound and visual engineers and is ready to break out in New York City and kick-off a rebirth of United Kingdom music dominance. RIDING BETWEEN CARS are ready to break the rules and defy the odds as they make their ascent to the top of the music industry.
