Rising Down is a rock band that creates music with their emotions and Central Florida is diggin' it! The band was originated by guitarists Chris Martinez & Martin Alvarez and Todd Boyle calling up a couple friends that shared the same passion for music as they did. From that summer of 2009, the band hasn't looked back. Playing shows all over Central Florida, Rising Down has quickly become one of the most promising up-and-coming bands in the area. Stapled by heart-pounding guitar riffs and painfully honest lyrics, the band's sound has shaped into one that draws very few comparisons. From the glass-breaking drums in "The Importance of Maturity" to the deep, groovy bass line in "My Manana", the Tampa-based quintet doesn't take a second off when it comes to portraying their thoughts in every instrument during every song. Rising Down is a band on a mission. They love what they do and they don't want to stop. They know they are not the greatest musicians, songwriters, etc., but they each possess an uncanny will to make the best music humanly possible. Rising Down is a band categorized as one who will just grow better and better with time and effort, and they have a whole lot of both.
