I've been a professional musician for my entire life, in the early 1970's my band "Rob Zantay's Fusion" featured Kenny Kirkland, Kenny Aronoff, Chris Toelkin, and Cecil Mcbee Jr, in the 1980's I was a first call studio musician in the NYC studio scene playing lyricon, a woodwind controller for synthesizers, I made hundreds of TV commercial music tracks and was a featured soloist on the movie scores for "The Incredible Shrinking Woman" and "The King of Comedy". I also appeared on albums by Bob James (Foxie, Hands down, The Swan) Suzanne Ciani(7 Waves,Velocity of Love) Lonnie Listen Smith (Rejuvination) and Stanley Jordan (Cornicopia) In 1996 I produced, arranged and orchestrated Stanley's Bolero CD. I am presently creating a music that I call Bip Bop! which combines dance rhythms and contemporary production techniques with my improvisations using Flute, piccalo, sopranino and alto saxophones and the yamaha WX-7 wind controller which enables me to control any synthesizer sound using my woodwind technique.
