Born in Baton Rouge, LA., Ralph "Royale" Holland, the multifaceted and multitalented R&B singer/songwriter of the south is back to keep the romance in R&B with his 2008 stand-alone single "Slow Dance". Holland is also currently promoting his forth coming Album, "Situations" with the (upcoming) dual releases of the singles "Tipsy" & "I'll Never Give Up". Royale’s R&B/Soul/Urban style was influenced by Gerald Levert, R. Kelly, Keith Sweat, Johnny Gill and Luther Vandross but developed via vocal training from Jan Smith Studios - Atlanta,GA. Royale connects with his fans on a personal level by delivering sultry vocals regarding love and life issues. He extends this delivery by providing solutions using his own insight. His album is an extension of the past performances, memories and experiences that has cultivated him into one of the most dynamic artist that exists in today's R&B Genre. While attending Southern University, on a band scholarship, and in pursuit/obtainment of his Computer Science / Business Management-Marketing degree, Royale was approached by the CEO and manager of Reality Entertainment and a recording deal was landed in October, 1997. During this venture, he began working on his debut album and contributed to the success of several of Reality Entertainment’s rap artists’ as well as indie/major label artists’ via recording background vocals for their projects. Dating back to the mid 90’s, Holland’s performance resume captures him as an opening/main act that has been blessed to be a part of many concerts. These shows presented national acts such as H-Town, Carl Thomas, Gerald Levert, JS, Avant, Case, New Edition, Hi-Five, Tony Terry, UGK, No Limit Records, Public Announcement and many others. Although Holland terminated his venture with Reality Entertainment three years later, he made sure that he gained exposure, knowledge, stage presence and experience. Under the umbrella of his own record label & publishing company, Geismarland Music, Royale continued working with various artist. Holland later landed 5 single song contracts in 2001 from Hilltop Records and Hollywood Artist Record Company, out of Hollywood, CA. Several contracts were declined for contractual reasons. On March 11, 2003, Royale regionally released "Keeping You Satisfied", which took the region by storm with the follow up project “A Lifetime of Love" (June 28, 2005). The singer/songwriter currently resides in Atlanta, GA. and is definitely taking his sound & image to the next level. With this new sound, Geismarland Music is focused on captivating music lovers around the globe. Holland has and is also pursuing his acting passion. He has been featured in Cocaine Diaries-(Movie), Don't Worry Bout A Thing-(Movie), U Got It Bad-(Stage Play), Miracles-(Stage Play), Sisstazz-(Stage Play), Love’s Triangle-(Movie), You Are Not The Father- (Movie) and has current roles in Stomp the Yard 2 - Homecoming (Movie) and "When A Man Loves A Woman" (Stage Play), with Triune Productions/Shelly Garrett Entertainment, .
