At birth doctors proclaimed that Rumill would be a singer due to the octave range she exercised when she cried! At birth doctors proclaimed that Rumill would be a singer due to the octave range she exercised when she cried! Currently, Rumill is in the process of completing a recording demo in aim to gain major exposure and national record label distribution. She is working with producer Rob Diggy of Chicago who received a Grammy Award in 2004 for the keyboard arrangements on Superstar Beyonce` single ‘Crazy in Love’ and producer/bass player Bryan Nesbitt of the legendary R&B group the Bar-Kays. Upon receiving a track that Bryan forwarded to her from a producer of Nu South Music in Atlanta named Marcus Stephens a.k.a. Marc da 3rd, Rumill wrote the lyrics to the track which is now her debut release, ‘Not the 1 for me’; making her one of the youngest songwriters of today! Not the 1 for me is from the forthcoming album, The Party’s Just Begun. Rumill is now sixteen years old and a sophomore at Coppell High School. She is the first lady of Millhouse Records and recorded her debut single, 'Not the 1 for me' at the age of 15. Rumill has performed at numerous events in Dallas including 97.9 the Beat Live Summer Tours, Harambee Festival, House of Blues Underground, and Kwanzaa Fest!
