Ryde is revolutionizing stereotypical identity one rhyme at a time. Born and raised in Fairfield, CT, Ryde has always been fascinated with hip-hop culture and music. After completing undergraduate work and achieving his BA in Philosophy, Ryde began to pursue music 100%. Being raised on the classic hair bands of the 80s and the Motown and classic soul of the 60s Ryde’s musical inspirations are many and varied. He uses his influences to impact his lyrics and performance in ways that are not being represented in today’s music scene. Right now Ryde is working on booking gigs and is looking for labels to represent him. Campaigns on Facebook, Reverbnation, Myspace, Tumblr, Soundcloud, and Twitter have begun and Ryde is planning on reaching out to his online audience when it comes to performances with the intent of keeping online interaction a primary element in his musical career. Having a large amount of experience in social media, Ryde knows how to market himself online and draw in an online audience. Ryde has since been working on new material infused with lyrics that both will excel in the pop industry and also represent Ryde’s unique journey through the music world. His perspective and drive make him an exceptional story and his lyrics reflect both the natural writer and musical ear inside of him.
