This San Francisco based Rock Band is turning a new page in Rock. The band's sound is a mixture of classic and 90's rock. Band History: In the fall of 2002, Al was in search to form a band that would touch and connect with people musically. To make that happen, he needed to find the right people that would share the same vision. Fate or luck, he was able to find Marck who let his guitar playing speak for itself. These two jammed tunes the entire next year creating the killer riffs you hear in the songs 'Whispers From The Dark', 'Alive', and 'Oasis'. In the following year, these guys went to the party of a mutual friend. It just so happened that Jayson Dela Cruz was at the same party. Anyone who knows Jayson, knows that music is his life and by luck, these three got together and played music the following day. There was an instant chemistry in the air. After only a few short weeks of jamming out on a daily basis, the band was created. The guys knew they could not be complete without a lead singer; so commenced the search. In and out of drummers and singers so the story goes... In October Lisa Mongelli joined the crew as the badass drummer, and last but most definitely not least in our line-up Anthony "Speed" Nielsen completes the musicians in the band to round out the project. With a consistent following in San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area, SAGAVAL looks towards being the next big band. Armed with melodic songs and catchy tunes, it'll push them with the dream of changing the lives and connecting with each and every listener. Come along...it promises to be one helluva ride!
