Cramming a five-piece pop rock band into close quarters and rocking the foundation of a three-story apartment complex isn't exactly model tenant behavior. Even though those that live above, below or beside may not be huge fans, this Kalamazoo-based act is picking up plenty others as it embarks on statewide shows.
Featuring Levi Brondyke (guitar/lead vocals), Kathryn Tapper (guitar/vocals), Jayson Bussa (bass/vocals), Brendan May (keyboard) and Ben Hodges (drums), Sara Never Loved Me's full line-up was formed in April of 2010, debuting at The Strutt in Kalamazoo. Sara Never Loved Me featured just Brondyke and Bussa during the first three months prior.
Drawing from plenty of experience in defunct projects, the band has already shown a few different faces to its music from high-energy dance songs like Whoa Is Me and Oh Darkness, Give Me Peace, to the more piano-infused I Found Someone and Someone Like Me.
Sara Never Loved Me is compiling its first demo, the release date yet to be determined.
