Seek Help was formed in 2006 by (vocals) Matty Visser, (lead/rythum) Shawn Arnspiger, (percussion) Johnathon (Mike) Wilson and (bass) Fackel (Zack) Stewart in Medford, Oregon. Though they are a Punk band their style ranges from Reggae to Thrash. It's very refreshing and orignal.

Matty has had alot of influences over the years. He taught himself how to play the piano at the age of six, when he was eighteen he began playing the guitar and writing lyrics. Fackel and him were in the band Pocket Lint prior to Seek Help. The band member's met during a practice session for Pocket Lint and began to jam. When Pocket Lint retired Seek Help was born. Aside from his music Matty is dedicated to his wife V.V. and his three children. Shawn was a Navy baby, so he moved around alot before settling in Oregon. He was first influenced by the violin about the age of six. He played for four years before getting into BMX racing. At twelve years old he purchased his own guitar and started self lessons on playing and music theory. He keeps himself busy by hanging with his wife Faith, welding, hanging drywall and playing disc golf. Johnathon was born in Hawaii, he moved to New York 1992 and than he went to California. From then on he moved from the East coast to the West coast several times before settleing in Medford in 2005. He began playing percussion when he was 12 years old and to this day uses the same drum kit. Fackel is the late bloomer, playing bass occasionally from 1996 until 2005 when he began to get serious. That was while he was with Pocket Lint. At this time he is planning his wedding and expecting his second child with his long term girlfriend Elizabeth. He was born in Medford, Oregon and has never lived anywhere else.
They chose the title "My Land" because it is one their favorite songs, and it will be on the album. A few others on the album are We Use, Quicksand and 2 Mo Fo's. Here is acouple of verse's from 2 of our songs, Breath "Something that I need for my soul to breath, that is fire without warning." and 2 Mo Fo's "Out there watching all you people while you rally around searching for some money, sanction for the pound, stupid superficial b/s got a hold on you, so I just drink."
Seek Help is self promoting with a little help from Dan Bryant with the NRBA. They make their own stickers and t-shirts with help from supporting friends. Shows are promoted on Myspace, (www.myspace.com/seekhelp) the Medford Tempo, local radio stations, and occasionally the Mail Tribune.
