House music entered this young Armenian talent’s life earlier than ever expected. Although having started taking piano lessons at the age of 5, it was at the age of 11 where Sevag was first introduced to the sounds’ of Junior Vasquez and Jonathan Peters through CD’s handed down from his older brother and fellow schoolmates. From that point on, house music had been a consistent part of his life. Through out his teens, he had constantly updated his music collection with the latest sounds of the house scene, always striving to have the most up-to-date hits. His passion for music had finally entered into the next stage while attending Rutgers University. Within days of living on campus, he was known as the go-to person when it came to having the latest and best house music, but he wasn’t satisfied with just keeping an updated music collection. He just had a fire that was burning inside that wanted more. After finally being old enough to enter into the New York City nightlife and seeing some of the Top DJ’s in the world such as Erick Morillo at Pacha and Peter Rauhofer at “Work” parties, he knew what that fire was, to be the one that gave life to the party through the power of music. While attending Rutgers full-time and working on campus, Sevag was saving up and not wasting anytime by gaining as much knowledge through researching every aspect of the art of DJ-ing. Finally, at the age of 20, he had saved enough and invested in the club-standard, Pioneer CDJ and DJM mixer. From this moment on, any free time away from studying and working was spent relentlessly practicing in his room, often several hours at a time, remaining awake into the early hours of many days. Within one year's time, at the age of 20, this young talent went from mixing in dark basements and fraternities to some of the most well known clubs in the New York/New Jersey area such as Deko Lounge NJ, Sullivan Room NYC, Rebel NYC, Touch NYC, and Water Taxi Beach NYC. Sevag has already showed his explosiveness into the scene in 2009, but relentlessly continues to stay on the move. His DJ influences contain such wide variety that his unique blend of musical selection ranges from Vocal, Progressive House to those of the Darker, Underground New York City style of House. The future is just beginning for this rising young star, but he isn’t willing to stop at just DJ-ing. Sevag has also entered the world of production in order to further develop his unique sound, and is working relentlessly toward creating quality hits based on many of the best and most diverse influences in the industry ranging from Axwell, Avicii, and Offer Nissim to Tristan Garner, Chus & Ceballos, Oscar G, and the list goes on... Sevag currently resides in New Jersey to finish up his final year at Rutgers University while continuing to DJ and Produce in the NJ/NY area.
