Gone are the messages that had substance and meaning like “Keep Your Head Up” and “The Sky’s the Limit” that understood, praised, motivated and reached youth and adults alike. They have been replaced with rappers telling you about their “lemonade freeze cups” and all white everything” and still others who just “ go hard in the paint”. Huh? That is the legacy they choose to leave for tomorrow? Forget the fundamentals, forget the inspiration, forget making music that motivates our youth to want and do better than those before them ? Never, and for those bold and brave enough to break out of this meaningless box of what is being accepted as genuine and quality and enter the world of REAL there is an alternative…. Shank Ahmir
