Dylan was in eighth grade and had already been taking music seriously for about 5 years by playing multiple instruments and writing his own music. The town he lived in, Greenville, IL, restrained him because there weren't any musicians his age around he could play with. He got his friend Jacob Rommerskirchen into some cool music and then started to teach him how to play the guitar. They experimented with recording songs on Dylan's home recording system. They couldn't play live because they didn't want to be an acoustic band but didn't have a drummer. Then, sophmores in highschool, they found a sign saying, "Rock/metal drummer looking for a band to play with." So they texted the number on the sign and his name was Sabastian Neudeck, who is obviously the drummer now. They practiced together and recorded an eight song long album they selftitled. Then they knew they needed another member, probably a synthesizer player to go with the whole dance electronic side of them. Mike Smith was interested then he ended up joining. Then one day during a band shower after a strenuous practice, something happened like someone fell into a shower curtain or something and then they named the band Shower Curtain Madness for no reason. Also the complicated band name is because so many good band names are taken they needed to make sure they had an original one so there weren't any problems.
