We live in Austin, Texas: Live Music Capital of the World and we're all pretty weird which reinforces the "Keep Austin Weird" slogan. We're 2 and 1/2 years in the making and only recently have we actually started recording things thanks to the help of who does pretty much ALL of our recording at the wee hours of the night when normal people are sleeping.
The name Slightly Asian Persuasion was generated by our friend Mehul who said it mainly as a joke. We don't think he thought we would actually like it and use it but hey, stranger things have happened. The coolest thing about our name is that it's weird and a little absurd, just like us. :]
