Smoky Mirror is an Island razed emcee from the Comox Valley, BC. He grew up near the ocean and forest atmosphere, making for a close connection to nature and wildlife. He was razed by a loving family and friends making for an open mind and healthy spirit, capable of spreading a positive vibe, but still understanding negativity. Since 2004 He started writing and freestyling with Scribe and other friends, planning for big dreams to one day spread the message worldwide. He has now released his first CD, "The Art of Being". All songs recorded in 2006. His next release "Everythings a Soundwave" is near completion and will be available soon. Smoky has performed at shows all over the valley such as school talent shows, spoken word, and The Pulse youth festivle 3 years in a row. He has also rocked countless house parties and other small events, to many to keep track of. His big debut was on Denman Island when he unexpectedly got to open for Ishkan and Just-B, with an audience of around 700 people. He now has a small studio on Denman Island and spends most his time writing, recording and meditating on the Shabd. He produces all his own tracks and also has produced songs for a few other friends. His goals are to make it with his music to one day go on tours worldwide with his friends, spreading the message of peace and right understanding as soul, not mind.
