Through half emptied beer mugs in the San Francisco airport lounge a project was conceived. Completing a west tour Clint Sabon and Dave Petrie began discussing and eventually decided to collaborate on an original punk rock project. Through half emptied beer mugs in the San Francisco airport lounge a project was conceived. Completing a west tour Clint Sabon and Dave Petrie began discussing and eventually decided to collaborate on an original punk rock project. Takashi Iio bass playing wildcat was then seduced into joining and Sniff Test was born. The trio immediately began rehearsing and in a bizarre, one day marathon session recorded the instrumental tracks for 12 songs. Vocals were added and five of the songs were mastered in time for a EP and a west coast tour ensued. Clint, Dave and the amazing Dan “double D” hit the road for a west coast and Pacific Northwest tour opening for Drag the River, SK and the punk ass bitches as well as headlining. After blasting through sixteen states in two weeks the band returned home not to speak to each other for several months. Finally back in Michigan mode and reassembled with Michael Rais on the low end the band is currently releasing a 12 song CD as well as working on new material and whispers of another tour have been heard.
