Having a turbulent childhood and being tossed between two parents and countless states, Wreck turned to writing music to sooth his soul. Over the course of 11 years, Wreck wrote about his life growing up Latino in a poor and drug infestedneighborhood. Wreck watched a close family member turn to drugs and a stepfather abuse his mother on countless occasions. Instead of becoming a statistic, Wreck carried his passion for writing poems and he developed a passion for music. His poems became artistic pieces of music that he developed for his own enjoyment.At the age of 15, Wreck went back to Texas to live with his mother where he began getting into drugs and fighting. He looked to his music to channel out of reality. When he was 16 he went to a local studio to record for the first time. The producer was so pleased that he asked Wreck to come by the studio on a daily basis. At the time, going under the name “Nemacis”, he remained unknown to the local community. The name “Southern Wreck” came when one of his friends said “Wow! You from tha' south and you can wreck tha ’mic!” Since then he encompassed the name and became one with it. It wasn't until he moved back to Florida on his 17th birthday that he decided to take hiscareer to new heights making his first mixtape “The Southern Hustle”. He took it to the streets and made and amazing $15,000 the first month.As time went on Wreck developed his skills in collaborating music and spoken word together and working hard to get to the top, "Ballin' At It'z Best" emerged. With 3 songs projected to hit multi platinum status, Wreck's life experiences are showcased for the world's enjoyment.
