South Shore Road is an American rock band from Salt Lake City that is attempting to achieve its most notable successes during this era. Centered on three musicians; Keyboardist, Song-Writer, and producer, Steve Wenzbauer, Guitarist and Song Writer, John Reed, Vocalist and Song Writer Kenny Spencer. The band has fastened themselves as a classic rock playlists band. The first embodiment of the band began in 1987 as "Gone Home" in Salt Lake, a revival band dedicated to celebrating and playing 1970s-era Classic Rock. Although the band has had a high turnover rate throughout their history, the driving force behind the band has always been musicians/ Song Writers John and Steve. In 2009, the band, which has been heavily influenced by The Black Crowes, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who and the Allman Brothers, made a demo of songs that they have written over the course of the last 10 years.   John Reed, Steve Wenzbauer, and Ken Spencer, have wandered down a passageway that combines several respective talents. John and Steve have, in the past, produced and engineered solo projects that include songs written by the two, and have discussed in detail the idea to combine their talents with a great vocalist/Writer like Ken Spencer together as one finished project. As a result, the “Under Construction” studio CD was born with a new name for the band: "South Shore Road"
