Born in Philadelphia and later transplanted into Wisconsin, Steve is the eldest son of harmonica virtuoso Eddie Gordon. He got his first guitar at age 8 and has been playing and singing ever since, adding a few more instruments along the way, like bass, harmonica, keyboards, sax, drums and banjo.
