Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Tammy has performed her music nationwide at special events, festivals, churches, conferences, workshops, and music venues, including Nashville’s prestigious Bluebird Cafe. She has also appeared on worldwide television and radio programs. As a songwriter and artist, Tammy has had four songs hit #1 on Christian and Country charts. Also among her writing credits is the theme song for "Come On In" with host Melanie Walker, currently playing on the TCT Network. Tammy is the originator and host of the annual “Breaking The Chains” event held at the Bluebird, each year in April, to promote autism awareness. She has become a strong advocate after her younger daughter, Morgan, was diagnosed at age 3. The purpose of Know The Hope is to support and strengthen families. Tammy integrates autism awareness into her program to help families like her own adapt to the everyday challenges of raising children with special needs, and give guidance to faith communities on how to include families with disabilities. "Autism is a life long neurological disorder that effects as many as 1 in 150 individuals according to the CDC. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential to help them lead full independent lives."
