The project was founded in Sept. 2004 by Erez Keynan and Gil Fux. working together for 12 years to create catchy melodies combining current electronic sounds with live music. The project performs energetic live shows together with spectacular video art and animation. Talented DJ Gal Brami joined the project to help design the party ambiance for the show. The project has been working simultaneously on writing original music for it's debut album and constructing a show comprised of the leading musicians in Israel. Various female vocalists have joined in their talents periodically in compiling some of the tracks. The chore electronic music is brought to life by the live instruments- electric guitar, saxophone, percussions, bass guitar and of-course the vocals. The end product is the original "Tanto-ish" sound. Cover versions to popular songs, which have been created especially for the show, also maintain the characteristic Tanto line- harmony, catchy melody groove and soul. Tanto project have been performed in Athens, Prague, Malaga, Istanbul and Israel. Tanto project had 5 releases up till now "perfect color","fly away","adelante","full moon",and the new release on the major israeli label PHONOKOL RECORDS "gotta move on". Erez Keynan: Musical producer and composer. Plays in the project on bass, keyboards, percussion, studio computers and programming. Graduated “Rimon” school of jazz and contemporary music. Gil Fux: Co- musical producer. Plays in the project on electric & acoustic guitars. DJ, musician and composer. Has been DJing in Israel's hottest clubs. Gal Brami: One of the leading DJs in Israel, plays in clubs and raves around Europe. Additional musicans: Shlomi Alon one of the top saxophone players in Israel. Part or the successful group "Hadag Nahash" and the groovy "Funk'n'stein". Plays the sax and the flute. Reut Yehudai- a wonderfull soul singer with a very sexy voise on vocals. Shai Alon-guitar.
