Teacake, started dance and modeling school at a very early age. At age 14, she went to New York City to the International Modeling and Talent Competition where she won awards in the Runway, Commercial and Photography categories. She was Fourth Runner-up in the Miss Texas American Teen Pageant where she also won best photogenic. In Los Angeles, she competed in the Debbie Allen FAMEUS Talent Competition, Triple Threat category and won 2nd place. Teacake was honored to sing the National Anthem for two of Houston’s great ball teams, the Houston Astros and the Houston Comets. She started performing on the professional theater stage at age 14 as well. Some of her theater credits include: Aint’ Misbehavin', One Mo' Time, Little Shop of Horrors, One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show, and Dreamgirls to name a few. She has released two studio albums which are available on Itunes. Her third album entitled, inTENsity, will be released October 10, 2010. Teacake recently completed three consecutive tours with Royal Caribbean International and Princess Cruises. Don’t forget the name Teacake, because the best is yet to come.
